Carol Little’s first novel, Hide Your Life Away, was published by Meanwhile Studios in September 2008. Hide Your Life Away has been nominated for the 2009 Montaigne Medal (www.hofferaward.com) which is awarded to a small group of thought-provoking titles. She had a poem published in the Winter 2008 edition of the magazine freefall and her poetry will be featured in the upcoming issue of The Fence. Carol has been invited to read at the Westport Poetry Festival in Westport, Ontario April 3-5, 2009. She has received two creative writing grants from the Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts, and in August 2008 was employed with the PEICA as Author In Residence. She has degrees in Psychology and English Language and Literature from Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario. She is currently working on a new novel, a book of poetry, a stage play and is raising two-year-old twin daughters.
