I recall your working at Ragweed and eating a macaroon (a cookie of some type) one fine day in ’88. I was a kid at the time and wanted to submit a chapbook. You were patient and instructive. I continue to write. I recall talking to Jack McAndrew recently. He shot a program for CBC back in ’85 featuring Milton Acorn. I sorted through it in his tiny offline studio back in ’91. I asked if he stilll has it and I think his son Sean could find it reasonably enough. This is the camera original stuff. This was toward the end, as it were, and the footage is telling, but it doesn’t come across as a Mr. Dressup take on the poet. Thought you might want to know. I generally plug away at finding this stuff and see if anyone wants copies for proper archiving.
